Anne Arundel County police said they seized drugs and arrested five people after executed a search warrant at a Brooklyn Park home Tuesday morning.
Officers began the raid at 9:15 a.m. in the 900 block of Victory Avenue. It was the second time in the past year that a search warrant was executed at the home, records show.
The warrant was the result of a drug investigation and numerous neighborhood complaints about drug activity at the home, police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said.
Officers said they found 5.6 grams of heroin and 0.2 grams of crack cocaine as well as drug paraphernalia. Police charged five people with various drug offenses, Mulcahy said.
Police arrested Patricia Moore, 49, and Christie McGee, 37, both residents of the home. Moore was sentenced to a four year term with all but 18 months suspended and three years of supervised probation after she pleaded guilty to drug possession in March, according to online court records. She was charged shortly before Christmas last year after police raided the home and found heroin and oxycodone, according to The Capital archives.
At the time of the December 2011 arrest, Moore was out on a $100,000 bond after being arrested a month earlier for drug possession with intent to distribute.
Police also arrested Larry Eugene Johnson, 34, and Willie Meekins, 44, both of Baltimore, and Melanie Wengart, 31, of Glen Burnie.
