Two people arrested for drugs Friday evening by Ofelia Garcia Hunter ofelia.hunter@aliceechonews.com Alice Echo-News Journal

Alice police officers executed a search warrant on the 900 block of East First Street and located cocaine and marijuana Friday about 4:30 p.m.

The search resulted in finding half-ounce of cocaine and two ounces of marijuana. A man and woman were arrested and charged with drug possession.

They are currently being booked by police officers at the police station.

The pair will be transported to the Jim Wells County jail and booked. Names have not been released.
