Two men have been charged over the discovery of a gun, ammunition and drugs in a car in Dandenong South, in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
Police found the items during a routine vehicle search on the corner of Hammond Road and the Dandenong Bypass early this morning.
A 24-year-old man from Dandenong has been charged with firearm offences, three counts of resisting police and possession of amphetamines.
A 31-year-old Frankston man has also been charged with drug and weapon offences.
They will appear in the Dandenong Magistrates' Court today.
