CLARKSBURG — The Harrison Sheriff's Department continues to investigate a case involving a county school bus driver accused of texting obscene matter.

Stanley J. Coleman, 49, is facing four felony charges brought by Harrison Sheriff's Lt. P.B. McCarty over the matter.

Wrongdoing occurred within the past week, the criminal complaints allege.

Coleman was released on $120,000 bond after an initial appearance before Harrison Magistrate Tammy Marple.

When school is in session, Coleman drives a bus for Harrison County schools in the Lost Creek/West Milford area, Harrison Superintendent of Schools Susan Collins confirmed. She declined to comment on Coleman's employment status, saying because it's a personnel matter, "I'm not at liberty to discuss it."

On one charge, soliciting a minor via computer, Coleman could face two to 10 years in prison if convicted.
