Kennewick — A Tri-City man is accused of posting obscene pictures of his ex-wife on a revenge porn site.

Johnnie Cruz, 32, pleaded innocent Wednesday in Benton County Superior Court to cyberstalking. The charge includes a domestic violence allegation.

The victim contacted authorities Jan. 14 to report her former husband's actions, court documents said.

The woman said she'd learned from a friend that the pictures were on the Internet, and she visited the site to confirm they were of her.

The photos were taken while she was married to Cruz, documents said.

"These photos were not posted with her permission, and she was embarrassed and humiliated as a result of those photos being published on the Internet," Deputy Prosecutor Megan Whitmire wrote.

Cruz has a prior harassment conviction for violating a no-contact order involving his ex.

Cruz's trial is scheduled Sept. 30. He's ordered to have no contact with the woman while the case is pending.
