Two Arkansas City men were arrested Wednesday night after a search of a local residence turned up drugs and drug-use paraphernalia, according to a Cowley County Sheriff's Office activity report.
Akelah Micco Frazee, 22, and Darin Dwight Mulanix, 44, were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug-use paraphernalia. They were booked into the county jail.
Both men were released on $7,000 bonds about 9 a.m. Thursday, the report said.
The arrests occurred about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at 1434 N. Fifth St. after a sheriff's deputy smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the residence while serving civil process papers at that location, according to the report.
Frazee and Mulanix are scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. Oct. 30 in Arkansas City District Court, according to the report.
