Twelve people have been arrested in a police drugs operation targeting street users and dealers.
Heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis were seized in the crackdown over the last week in west Cumbria.
Suspects were held for allegedly possessing drugs or having substances with intent to supply them, with seven raids at homes in Whitehaven, Egremont and Cleator Moor.
Police say they launched Operation Brenner after residents in Copeland told them drug misuse and abuse was their main worry.
Officers add street level dealers have "an adverse effect" on the quality of life of people living nearby due to the linked crime, such as thefts from cars, carried out to feed habits.
In two of the more recent raids, search warrants were executed in Hensingham and Bransty Road in Whitehaven.
Police say the operation has relied on information provided by the public.
PC Calvin Greaves added that the crackdown aimed to have an impact on crime and "the fear that it causes" by "addressing community concerns".
He added: "We are working very closely with residents in estates across Copeland to disrupt the activity of those people who are involved with drugs misuse. The success of the operation is reliant upon the intelligence we have received and continue to receive from our communities.
"I would encourage people to contact us if they have information."
Most of those arrested were questioned by police before being bailed. No charges have yet been brought.
PC Greaves said officers would be working with housing associations and were aiming to offer some "respite to those residents suffering drug-related crime and antisocial behaviour".
