Southern Division, 4 p.m. Oct. 17 Gang-suppression detail in the area resulted in the arrests of four people who were under the influence.

1500 block of Cunningham Avenue, 8:14 p.m. Oct. 17 A driver struck by gunfire from another vehicle was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Western Division, 4 p.m. Friday High visibility was the focus of gang-suppression detail in the area.

Foothill Division, 4 p.m. Saturday While patrolling gang hot spots, police arrested a person for driving with a suspended license, for drug possession and an outstanding warrant.

San Antonio Street and McCreery Avenue, 4:40 p.m. Saturday Two females wearing rival gang colors were beaten with blunt weapons by four males and a female. Their injuries were not life-threatening.

White Road and Mt. McKinley Drive, 1:21 a.m. Sunday Two males armed with a weapon when they robbed a person were located nearby and arrested.

100 block of Willow Street, 3:45 a.m. Sunday A person was assaulted and robbed the three people.

South First and Post streets, 10:27 a.m. Sunday An employee entered a backroom as ordered while a person who was armed stole merchandise from the store.

El Camino Real, 3:18 a.m. Saturday A male asleep in a cafe refused to leave.

El Camino Real, 5:45 a.m. Saturday And then there were four people asleep in a cafe and refusing to leave. By the time police arrived, everyone had left.

Hoover Street and Haven Avenue, 8:25 a.m. Saturday Two juveniles slashed tires on a vehicle and ran off.

Laurel Street, 10:10 a.m. Saturday A red Chevrolet Blazer was stolen.

Linden Street, 3:07 p.m. Saturday A male asked police to arrest a person who lives in the same apartment building for assaulting him on Aug. 30.

Woodside Road, 4:18 p.m. Saturday A red Honda was stolen sometime after 8 a.m.

Marshall and Main streets, 6:41 p.m. Saturday A person reported to be driving recklessly on two flat tires had pulled into a gas station when police arrived and arrested him.

2900 block of Benton Street, 2:04 p.m. Oct. 13 A man reported to be running in traffic on the roadway and swinging a large wooden object was apprehended and arrested for being under the influence of controlled substance.

3550 El Camino Real, 9:09 a.m. Oct. 15 Three males associated with a stolen vehicle in the parking lot at Bella Vista Motel were in possession methamphetamine and a stolen gun when policed contacted and arrested them in their room.

3290 El Camino Real, 9:52 p.m. Oct. 16 Police located a man two blocks away from El Pomeroy Liquors, where he's accused of threatening a person outside the store with a knife, and arrested him.

100 block of Warren Drive, Tuesday Friday A male accused of stabbing a person late Friday evening during an argument was located and arrested. The person's injuries were not life-threatening.

1300 block of Westmont Avenue, 9:15 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday Someone used force to break into and burglarize a residence.

34420 Fremont Blvd., 9:20 a.m. Friday A large plate glass window at Muslim Eastern House Restaurant was shattered with an unknown object.

Cabrillo Drive, 2:25 a.m. Friday A resident arriving home watched a suspicious vehicle speed off as he approached, then noticed his front door was open and the interior burglarized. Missing items included camera and jewelry.

4444 Hansen Ave., Saturday A 1994 Nissan truck at Country Club Apartments was stolen. The same officer who took the report located a stolen 1995 Honda Civic at the complex.

400 block of Rancho Arroyo Parkway, Sunday A 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen.

40600 block of Sundale Drive, Sunday An attempt to steal a 2013 Nissan Sentra was made.

Highway 680 and Vargas Road, 5:30 a.m. Monday A male on his way to work was robbed at gunpoint by the driver he rear-ended. He told police that when he pulled over to make contact with the driver, the male pulled out a gun and demanded his wallet.

5375 Farwell Place, 2:15 p.m. Monday A woman who returned to Extended Stay America to collect a large amount of drugs she and three others, a woman and two men, had left behind after checking out was arrested following a struggle with a staff person cleaning the room. Police located and arrested the second woman. The men got away.

Constitution Drive and Chilco Street, 8:46 a.m. Monday A white 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen sometime after 5 p.m. the previous day.

800 block of Stanton Road, 11:51 a.m. Friday Someone tampered with a rear door at a business trying to break in.

El Camino Real and Howard Avenue, 7:34 p.m. Friday A man was reported to be cheering too loudly for his sports team and creating a disturbance.

700 block of Laurel Avenue, 9:04 a.m. Friday A resident who accused a neighbor of repeatedly stealing her mail was provided information on getting a restraining order.

1000 block of Carolan Avenue, 11:17 p.m. Saturday Police responded to a report of an unoccupied vehicle left running, located the owner who was out of town, then turned off the engine and locked it up, per his request.
