2 college students, 3 others arrested in Flagstaff drug bust - AZFamily

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Five people, including two college students, are accused of selling drugs out of a Flagstaff apartment.

The Northern Arizona Street Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant on an apartment near University Avenue and Woodlands Village Boulevard on Monday.

Flagstaff Police Department spokesman Sgt. Cory Runge said task force agents seized more than 5 ounces of cocaine, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and a small amount of marijuana and MDMA, a concentrated form of the drug ecstasy. They also seized more than $5,000 in cash.

A Northern Arizona University student, a Coconino Community College student and three other people were arrested.

The task force had been investigating one of the residents for several months, according to Runge. Undercover agents conducted several controlled purchases of MDMA.

Through further investigation, agents learned that large quantities of cocaine and marijuana were being sold, transported and distributed from the residence mostly to the local college population.

Jeffrey Brogger, 22, of Flagstaff, was booked for possession/transportation of narcotics for sale, possession of narcotics drugs for sale and three counts of sale of dangerous drugs.

Jonathan Brisco, 20, of Orange, Calif., was booked for possession of narcotics drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shawn Burk, 23, of Los Angeles, was booked for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Dakota Schatz, 21, of Flagstaff, was booked for possession of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Seth Perkins, 20, of Flagstaff, was booked for possession of dangerous drugs.
