Tampa police arrested two men in separate Ybor City drug busts early this morning, accusing the men of selling methamphetamine.
Dylan Conrad Lantz, 21, of Madeira Beach was arrested at 1:45 a.m., near the corner of Fifth Avenue and 16th Street, police said. He had made plans to sell a police informant a little more than an ounce of methamphetamine and was arrested during the transaction.
Lantz was arrested on charges of trafficking in illegal drugs and delivery and possession of a controlled substance.
An hour later, police arrested a Pasco County man who arranged to sell more than 11 grams of methamphetamine to a police informant near the corner of Sixth Avenue and 16th Street.
Taylor James Hawks, 20, of Trinity, was arrested on one charge of delivery of a controlled substance and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. Hawks works as a lifeguard at the J.P. Gills YMCA in Pasco County, according to jail records.
