GEORGETOWN, Ohio | Two suspects have been arrested for trafficking drugs in Brown County, Ohio.
According to Brown County Sheriff Dwayne Wenninger, as a result of an ongoing undercover drug investigation by the Brown County Sheriff's Office, on Jan. 28, Matthew Williams, 33,of South Main Street, Georgetown, was arrested on five felony counts of trafficking prescription drugs and marijuana.
As of Friday, Williams was in custody at the Brown County Adult Detention Center on a $50,000, cash, surety, or property bond.
On Feb. 6, Trisha Hatfield, 29, also of South Main Street, Georgetown, was arrested as a result of the investigation.
She has been charged with one count of felony trafficking drugs.
She was arraigned in Brown County Municipal Court on Feb. 6, and was released from custody on an own recognizance bond.
