Police: Man made obscene gestures before grabbing girl - Chicago Sun-Times

An Oak Lawn man allegedly made "obscene gestures with his tongue" before grabbing an underage girl in Englewood.

David Brown, 60, pulled up his green mini-van next to the girl in the 1900 block of West 63rd Street about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police said. Then, the 60-year-old reached out of the driver's side window and grabbed the girl, but she ended up freeing herself and began yelling.

Brown allegedly drove off before officers, who were given a description of his van, stopped him taken into custody in the 2400 block of West 79th Street. The victim later identified Brown, police said.

Brown was charged with attempted kidnapping.
