UPDATE: 9/26 6:45 a.m.: A woman and a young girl were killed. The woman has been identified as 31-year-old Sandra D. Amaya of Norfolk.
Truck driver, 29-year-old Neil W. Lyness of Moyock, N.C., remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Investigation continues.

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Two people were killed in an accident on I-64 near Indian River Road in Virginia Beach Wednesday night.
A witness told 13News Now that a pickup truck travelling in the wrong direction around 7:00 p.m. hit a Hyundai, causing it to go airborne.
"It looked like it happened so fast. It looked like a black truck cut across the median and when doing so he hit another van - another car - and that car was like flipping in the air," said Kari Hill.
Authorities confirm the truck driver was heading westbound when it crossed the grassy median and slid sideways, colliding with a car in the eastbound lanes.
The two people in the car were killed; the truck driver was taken to the hospital with injuries considered life-threatening, said Va. State Police.
"I was thinking if I were there 20 minutes earlier, 20 minutes later that could've been me," Hill said.
The Virginia State Police Chesapeake Division Accident Reconstruction Team was investigating.
All eastbound lanes of I-64 were re-opened by 10:05 p.m.
