PORT ST. LUCIE — Police on Thursday arrested a six-time convicted felon and another man after searching a home and turning up a host of drugs, ammunition and a loaded handgun, according to affidavits released Friday.

Monfort "Fifty" Desir, 26, and 19-year-old James Bristol were arrested after Port St. Lucie police executed a search warrant at their listed address in the 2000 block of Southeast Heathwood Circle. Desir is identified as a six-time felon in an arrest affidavit.

In a bedroom police say belonged to Desir, investigators found items including marijuana, almost 100 alprazolam pills, cocaine, Ecstasy, a loaded .40 caliber handgun and additional ammunition. In Bristol's bedroom, cocaine, marijuana, scales and ammunition were found.

With the help of an informant, police in September arranged to buy $100 in crack cocaine from "Fifty." Earlier this month, police also bought Ecstasy and more cocaine from "Fifty." In the second drug buy, Bristol opened the door to the home.

Desir and Bristol were arrested Thursday as investigators executed a search warrant at the home.

Desir was arrested on 12 felony charges, including possession of cocaine, sale of cocaine, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon.

Bristol was arrested on two felony drug charges and a single misdemeanor drug related charge.
