SALAMANCA - Five people have been arrested for the sale and traffic of illegal narcotics in Cattaraugus County, the Olean-based Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force announced Thursday.
The suspects were apprehended following a lengthy investigation within the county and city of Salamanca.
Arrested were Travis J. Doner, 24, of Salamanca; Michael C. Walters, 22, of Salamanca; Nicole M. Gilbert, 30, of Derrick City, Pa.; Reginald Crouse, 75, of Salamanca; and Douglas Farnham, 32, of Salamanca.
In September, Doner was indicted by a Cattaraugus County grand jury on two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
According to police, at the time of his arrest, Doner was found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana, leading to the execution of a search warrant at his residence. The search resulted in the seizure of a substantial amount of drugs.
Doner was formally charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Walters, who was located within Doner's residence, was charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Gilbert was charged on Nov. 20; Crouse and Farnham were charged on Oct. 24. All three were charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Also wanted by the drug task force are Todd J. Green, thought to be living in the Irving area, and Thomas Doner, thought to be living in the Salamanca or Randolph area.
