Cop held for making obscene gestures - The Asian Age

A Delhi police constable was arrested for allegedly making obscene gestures at the widow of an assistant sub-inspector in Mukherjee Nagar area of northwest Delhi.
A senior police official said the incident took place in New Police Lines in Mukherjee Nagar on Tuesday night.
It was reported that the accused constable was in an inebriated state, however, the senior police official did not confirm this.
The police official, who did not wish to be named, said the accused constable was identified as Amit. He is posted with 3rd Battalion was arrested from the crime scene.
"The victim is a widow and she lives alone. The accused also lives in the same locality. She has alleged that on Tuesday night the accused saw her alone and took off all his clothes and stared making obscene gestures at her. The victim asked him to stop harassing her and go away but he did not heed. The victim then decided to teach him a lesson and made a PCR call to report the matter," said the police official.
A team was sent to the spot and Amit was apprehended from the crime scene. The police registered an FIR under Sections 354 (molestation), 509 (outraging modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Mukherjee Nagar Police station on the basis of the allegations levelled by the victim.
"Amit was produced before a city court which remanded him into judicial custody," said the police official.
