Three women detained in Chongqing sex video scandal - Morning Whistle

Three women involved in the recent Chongqing sex video scandal have been detained, according to the local police. A total of 11 officials have been sacked due to the scandal.

The Shandong-based Qilu Evening News cited an anonymous police officer as saying that the women included one who is lactating.

Last November, the party chief of the city's Beibei district, Lei Zhengfu, was removed from his post after a sex video of him with a young woman was unveiled by a microblogger and widely circulated on the Chinese Internet.

Ten other officials have been removed from their posts after appearing in similar videos.
They include county- and district-level officials serving in local government departments or party branches, as well as executives of state-owned enterprises.

The city's disciplinary body has found that the ring hired women to seduce local officials, covertly filmed their sexual acts and used the videos as tools of extortion.

Earlier reports said that Lei had been entrapped by a construction company attempting to pressure him into granting contracts.
