Pair arrested at Warsaw motel on drug and gun charges - WANE

WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) Two people were arrested at a Warsaw motel on Thursday morning on drug and gun charges.

Justin Michael Lewallen, 30, of North Webster, and Chelsea Rashell Wools, 18, of Syracuse were arrested after drug officers received an anonymous tip about illegal drug activity at the motel.

Officials found and arrested the pair in a room at the motel on the 3500 block of Lake City Highway the same day as the tip.

They found the two in a room with two Meth labs, finished Meth product, and supplies used in the production of Methamphetamine. Officials also found other illegal drugs in the room and a stolen handgun.

Lewallen and Wools were also wanted on previous warrants. They were charged with the pending warrants as well as felony drug charges for possession and production of meth; they were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

The charges against Lewallen and Wools were enhanced because of the motel's proximity to a public housing project. .

Warsaw Officers were assisted in the investigation by the Indiana State Police clean up team and the Kosciusko county Prosecutor's office.
