Man arrested for trying to sell drugs outside of Rite Aid in Charleston, WV - WOWK

CHARLESTON, WV -

One man is in jail after trying to sell drugs outside of a Rite Aid in Charleston, WV.

According to a criminal complaint issued by the Kanawha County Magistrate Court, this happened Friday, September 6, in the area of 1719 Washington Street West, outside of Rite Aid.

The criminal complaint states that a Terrance Lowell Ramsey, 28, attempted to sell drugs to an individual.  The subject gave dispatchers Ramsey's vehicle registration.

This led police to a residence at 806 Mariana Street in Charleston, in which two other people, a male and female, live in.

According to the criminal complaint, the female is Ramsey's girlfriend.

Police received consent from both the male and female living in the residence to conduct a search, in which they found approximately 16.8 grams of a drug known as MDMA, and several plastic and zip lock bags, which according to police, are consistent with the selling of narcotics.

An arrest warrant was issued for Ramsey, in which he was arrested Saturday, September 21.

Ramsey is being charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, as well as shoplifting.

He is being held in the South Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond.
