Two Louisville men arrested after drugs and juveniles found in car - WDRB

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say two Louisville men were among those arrested after a traffic stop that led officers to drug paraphernalia, large amounts of money, and a minor in the car.

According to an arrest report, 18-year-old Peyton Nicholas was stopped by officers near the intersection of Fegenbush Lane and Outer Loop for driving at night with only one headlight.

Police say Peyton gave officers permission to search the car and they allegedly found a large jar filled with marijuana, a scale and a large amount of money in small bills inside a minor's purse, which were all indicative of narcotic trafficking.

Officers say the minor inside the car admitted the drugs and money were hers and Peyton's because she sold marijuana.

Police say Peyton also admitted the drugs were his as well, and that he knew they were in the car, according to an arrest report.

The police report says everyone in the car had dilated pupils and green tinted tongues, which officers say showed signs of recently smoking marijuana. Police say another passenger, 19-year-old Matthew Yuodis, told officers everyone in the car had been smoking marijuana, and they all knew drugs were inside the car.

Peyton was arrested on August 20th, and charged with unlawful transaction with a minor and trafficking in marijuana. Yuodis was also arrested, but was only charged with unlawful transaction with a minor for knowingly keeping a minor out past curfew.
