Pair arrested in undercover drug case arraigned, jailed - Reading Eagle

Two men were in Berks County Prison on Saturday after they were charged with selling a half-pound of marijuana to an undercover county detective in Morgantown.

Michael Koser, 19, of the 100 block of Proudfoot Drive, Robeson Township, and Cody Taylor of Narvon, Lancaster County, were charged Friday with multiple counts of delivery and possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of Ecstasy.

Koser and Taylor were arraigned before District Judge Dean R. Patton in Reading Central Court and jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail and $150,000 bail, respectively.

According to investigators:

Caernarvon Township police notified detectives with the district attorney's office in January that Taylor was suspected of selling drugs.

Undercover detectives twice bought drugs from Taylor in a parking lot in Morgantown: $60 worth of Ecstasy the first time and $60 worth of marijuana the second.

An undercover detective again met with Taylor to purchase marijuana Friday. Taylor took the detective to meet his supplier, Koser, at Koser's home.

The detective bought a half-pound of marijuana from Koser for $2,500.

After the sale, detectives arrested Koser and Taylor and seized $600 worth of marijuana and a handgun.
