Van Wert police arrest eight people after drug investigations - WANE

VAN WERT, Ohio (WANE) - Van Wert police arrested eight people Monday on drug-related charges.

After numerous investigations over the past several months, the Van Wert Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol began making arrests on Monday.

The arrests came after a Grand Jury's indictments.

The following people were arrested:

  • Vicki Young, 57, for Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, Possession of Heroin, and Trafficking in Heroin.
  • Tyler Torrey, 20, of Convoy, Ohio, for two counts of Trafficking in Drugs and one count of Trafficking in Marijuana.
  • Nicole Raines, 32, for two counts of Trafficking in Drugs.
  • Christopher Day, 39, for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drugs.
  • Mack Johnson, Jr., 18, for Aggravated Possession of Drugs
  • Scott Spry, 35, for two counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs and one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs.
  • Ashley Gentry, 30, for two counts of Trafficking in Heroin and one count of Possession of Heroin.
  • Ronald Cobb, 22, for Corrupting a Minor with Drugs.

All of the suspects are being held at the Van Wert County Jail with no bond.
