?Two men have been arrested and charged following separate drug busts in the Outaouais last week.
On Jan. 31, MRC des Collines and Quebec provincial police officers executed a search warrant at a home in Namur, Que. and seized 100 Ecstasy tablets, marijuana, contraband cigarettes, cash and a gun.
A 44-year-old man was arrested and released pending a May 8 court date. He will likely face charges including drug possession with intent to distribute and improper storage of a firearm.
On Feb. 1, police served a second search warrant at a home in Thurso and seized more than 225 grams of marijuana, 200 methamphetamine tablets, two cases of contraband cigarettes and $1,500 in cash.
A 49-year-old Thurso man was arrested and released pending a May 15 court date in Gatineau where he will likely face charges of possession with intent to distribute.
