CHP traffic stop results in drug arrest - Stockton Record

STOCKTON – California Highway Patrol officers arrested Anthony W. Garcia, 31, and Kelly Fachner, 30, on several felony charges after making a traffic stop around 1 a.m. Tuesday at Sutter and Rose streets.

Officers stopped the pair because of expired registration on their 2007 Volkswagen and window tinting, the CHP reported.

Officers observed what they believed to be drugs in the car and initiated a search, yielding approximately one-half ounce of suspected crystal methamphetamines, more than 100 prescription pills of various narcotic drugs, a small scale and packaging material, according to the CHP.
