Three people have been arrested in Lincoln County on charges relating the manufacture and sale of methamphetamine and sale of prescription narcotics from a home a half block from Newport High School.
Jesse Michael Luckini, 35; Jade Nikole Leisure, 22; and Tammi Kay Brown, 45, were all arrested Friday after the Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team served a warrant at 430 N.E. Fifth Street in Newport.
During a search of the residence, officers seized meth, packaging materials, prescription drugs, a firearm and other evidence, according to a news release from Lt. Justin McGladrey of Oregon State Police Newport office.
All three were arrested at the scene. Luckini was charged with manufacture of meth within 1,000 feet of a school, delivery of meth within 1,000 feet of a school; and one count each of possession of meth, possession of oxycodone, and possession of prescription narcotics; and frequenting a place where drugs are used.
Leisure and Brown, who also lived at the residence, were accused of related charges. All three were placed in the Lincoln County Jail.
Assisting the narcotics team were Newport Police, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, the Lincoln City Police and OSP.
