POLICE have warned members of the public who involve themselves in illegal trade to follow the law.
The warning follows the arrest of a 36-year-old man last week who had sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana in his possession.
Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said police were alerted that the suspect was peddling drugs at his home in Tovata and conducted a raid.
"The officers were also accompanied by police dogs from the canine unit and after searching the suspect's house managed to find 37 sachets which was hidden inside the suspect's under-garments," Inspector Sokomuri said.
He said 15 sachets were also found by the police hidden beside a television set.
Inspector Sokomuri advised members of the public to call their nearest police station if they had any information about drug dealers.
