Detectives found five prescription drug bottles on a dresser in the master bedroom which had no labels or showed names other than Walton's, the sheriff said. A total of 221 oxycodone pills, 50 suboxone pills, and 33 Xanax tablets were inside the bottles, he said.

In addition, 188 plastic bags of crack cocaine were discovered in a jewelry box, Fontoura said.

Walton was arraigned Friday in Newark. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute within 500 feet of Sussex Avenue Park.

Walton remains in the Essex County Jail in lieu of a $175,000 cash bond, Fontoura said.
