New Delhi, INDIA (IANS) A Zimbabwean passenger, flying to South Africa, was arrested with banned drugs from the Indira Gandhi International Airport here Tuesday, a security official said.
"Karimazando Mike was arrested with pseudoephedrine and methaqualone, which are banned drugs, while checking at the airport by security staff," said an official of the Central Industrial Security Force, which is responsible for security at the airport.
"The accused was travelling to Johannesburg via Abu Dhabi by a Etihad Airlines flight, scheduled for 4:20 a.m.," the official said.The total weight of the recovered drugs is 65 kg, valued at Rs.50 lakh in the international market, the official added.
