28 arrested, 13 sought after Iredell drug roundup - WCNC

STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Iredell authorities have arrested 28 people and are looking for 13 others after an eight-month-long drug investigation.

Undercover detectives bought or seized $47,324, or nearly 1,487 grams, of drugs during the so-called "spring cleaning" round up, the Iredell County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

In all, authorities issued 107 felonies and three misdemeanor charges. The sheriff's office said many of the people arrested in the round-up have been charged in the past for drugs or weapon violations.

While detectives were able to take most of the suspects into custody, there are still searching for about a dozen others. Here are the suspects still wanted by the sheriff's office:

• Dwayne Edward Stanley, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule II drug and sell and deliver a Schedule II drug.

• Trenton Kade Tarlton, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substance.

• Travis Donnell Bryant, , on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and sell and deliver cocaine.

• Steven David Leach, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and sell and deliver cocaine.

• Ricky David Chagnon, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substance and sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substances.

• Michael Tate, on charges of sell and deliver a Schedule II drug and possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II drug

• Michael Gage Fox, on six counts of trafficking opium

• Kenneth Tyreck Dulin, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule VI drug and sell and deliver a Schedule VI drug

• Jason Wayne Bingman, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule II drug and sell and deliver a Schedule II drug.

• Christopher Tyler Dishman, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule VI drug and sell and deliver a Schedule VI drug.

• Casey Lynn Leslie, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver heroin, sell or deliver heroin and felony maintaining a dwelling

• Aaron Carpenter, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver heroin and sell and deliver heroin

• Tyrece Deshawn Scott, on 3 counts of trafficking opium.

Meanwhile, police said Friday they have taken the following people into custody in connection with the drug roundup:

• Simone Catherine Brigham, on charges of trafficking opium and maintain dwelling place.

• Sophia Lorane Sharpe, on a charge of trafficking opium.

• Lewis Edward Watkins, III, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.

• Roger Oneil Walker, on a charge of trafficking opium.

• Patrick Rome Stevenson, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule VI drug, sell and deliver a Schedule VI drug and felony maintaining a dwelling.

• James William Smith, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II drug, sell and deliver a Schedule II drug and felony maintaining a dwelling.

• Crystal Rose Smith, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule IV drug and sell and deliver a Schedule IV drug

James Foy Sloan, on charges of trafficking opium.

• Shawn Eugene Phelps, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and sell and deliver cocaine.

• Richard Gene Phelps, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, sell and deliver cocaine and conspire to sell and deliver cocaine.

• Jerry Wayne Sprinkle, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin and sell and deliver heroin.

• Ajamemian Kumara Carr, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and sell and deliver cocaine.

• Jamie Lynn Smyre, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and two counts of sell and deliver cocaine.

• April Rachelle McLean, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II drug and sell and deliver a Schedule II.

• Pedro Vargas Luna, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and sell and deliver cocaine.

• Kimberly Lynn Jarvis, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule III drug and Possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule IV drug.

• Christopher Stephen Jackson, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin and two counts of sell and deliver heroin.

• Kerry Laine Hinson, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule VI drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Fredrick Daniele Bryant, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and sell and deliver cocaine.

• James Clay Gover, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, sell and deliver marijuana and felony maintaining a dwelling.

• Leonard Everett Brice, on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule VI drug and three counts of sell and deliver a Schedule VI drug.

• Donald Ray Bines, on a charge of conspire to sell and deliver cocaine

• Bert Arden Ball, Jr, on charges of misdemeanor possession/sell and non tax paid liquor.

• Damian Michael Anderson, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and sell and deliver marijuana.

• Rebecca Ann Johnson, on charges of sell and deliver a Schedule II drug and possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II drug.

• Harriet Cecelia Fields, on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and sell and deliver marijuana

• Kevin Bernard Dulin, on a charge of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.
