Obscene CDs sale goes unchecked - International News Network

RAWALPINDI: Obscene CDs business has gained ground in this city following the imposition of ban by PTA on web sites infested with x-rated movies.

This immoral business is touching its peak in all the known markets particularly imperial market and Mughal Serai market in broad day light with impunity but in collusion with corrupt elements of police.

Bundles upon bundles CDs put in bangles like array can be seen in the shops rolling sinister eyes to entrap the frustration riddled men and women hovering like drones around the market. This trade is not confined to CDs only but those doing business of down loading of obscene clips in mobile phone memory card are also second to none in minting money from this heinous trade.

You can buy obscene CD at the cost ranging between Rs 30 to 45 and DVD from Rs 50 to Rs 55 in imperial market and Mughal Serai market and the price level dips if whole sale rate comes in the deal.

These markets are not only bubbling with foreign x movies but also sale of Desi nude CDs clips is on the way to hunting both genders irrespective of their age and race.

Wherefrom this vulgarity breeding business originates, query is raised but is hushed up when a band of criminals is seen standing behind it. They roll out nude video clips and bring it to markets in the shape of CDs.

Police is harvesting money as this business has become more lucrative for cops than the traders. As soon as any client comes out of shop he is overtaken by policemen clad in plain clothes. But he has to surrender and makes his way after filling an empty pocket at the cost of pockets of morality, ethics and social norms.

The social and religious circles demanded crackdown against the anti social elements behind this immoral trade besides initiation of action for closure of this business.
