Man Reports Gun Stolen, Gets Arrested for Drugs: HdG Crime Blotter - Patch.com

South Washington Street, 800 block. 4:05 p.m. on Jan. 28. Mail was reported stolen.

Pulaski Highway, 900 block. 12:45 p.m. on Jan. 28. Money and medication were reported stolen.

North Washington Street, 100 block. 1:59 a.m. on Jan. 27. Police were called for a disturbance and arrived to find a man who was "irate" inside, according to the report. The man told police that another man had entered his residence, stolen a handgun and left. While inside, police found the firearm that was allegedly stolen and also saw what they believed to be cocaine in plain view. They confiscated both items and arrested the 34-year-old man who lived on the 100 block of North Washington Street. He was charged with possession of cocaine and making a false report to police.

Congress Avenue, 400 block. 9:09 p.m. on Jan. 26. A debit card was reported stolen. The victim told police that he let two people inside his apartment to use the computer. After they left, he realized his debit card was missing from his wallet. The credit card company told him the card had been used multiple times since he noticed it was missing, with a total of $50 in new charges on it. Police referred the victim to the Harford County commissioner to file charges.

Revolution Street, 1100 block. 8:37 a.m. on Jan. 26. The screws were loosened on a soap machine at Sparkles laundromat. Nothing was reported stolen.

Seneca Avenue, 200 block. 1:18 p.m. on Jan. 25. A flat-screen Samsung TV worth approximately $650 and medication were reported stolen from a residence where nobody had been home overnight. Police said the break-in occurred through the window, and the investigation continues. There are no suspects.

Water Street, 600 block. 11:22 a.m. on Jan. 24. A break-in at Price's Seafood was reported, but no items were found to be stolen. Police found signs that someone had been inside the business. Papers and other items had been strewn about. Police determined that the suspect(s) accessed the business through a window.

Locust Street. 11:43 p.m. on Jan. 24. A K-9 officer was requested to assist Harford County police with a breaking and entering call.
