(WBNG Binghamton) A worker at an area medical manufacturer is arrested, charged with stealing narcotics from the company and supplying it to a major dealer in Delaware County.

Jason Wilsey, 33, of Davenport, surrendered this morning to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. He is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a first degree felony.

According to the sheriff's office, his employer, Covidien, uses Oxycodone to make prescription pain medication.

As part of a two year investigation by Delaware and Otsego county deputies, investigators said Wilsey was stealing Oxycodone powder and supplying it to dealers such as Dante Major, the man recently sentenced to 55 years to life in jail and a $260,000 fine for drug trafficking.

Investigators said Wilsey also supplied his brother Robert, who was arrested Dec. 21 on drug charges.

Wilsey was arraigned in county court and posted bail, which was set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
