Four arrested for drug possession over the weekend - Graham Leader

Law enforcement officers made a few drug arrests over the weekend.
Captain B.J. Cook of the Young County Sheriffs Office reported that Friday evening at around 5:15, Deputy Chris Wacaster reported to a home on Wolfe Circle in the Springwood addition on a call of a verbal disturbance.
Misty Sanger, 35 of Wichita Falls gave consent to search the U-Haul along with her possessions.
Wacaster found a pocketbook belonging to Shirley Manes, 53 of Wichita Falls, containing a clear bag and a clipped drinking straw with residue believed to be meth. Manes was arrested for drug possession penalty group 1 under one gram.
While the deputy was continuing the search of the U-Haul, Sanger attempted to have her juvenile daughter remove a box from the dash of the vehicle. Wacaster interceded and discovered multiple yellow pills imprinted with "M751" without a bottle which are a prescription-only muscle relaxer.
Sanger was placed under arrest for possession of dangerous drugs.
Wacaster made another arrest later that evening shortly after midnight.
He saw Brittany Underwood, 23 of Graham, who was known to have an active warrant for class C misdemeanors at the south Allsups.
When advised that she was placed under arrest, Underwood dropped two blue and white capsules on the ground from the front pocket of her clothing. The pills were identified as amphetamine salts, a prescription medication.
Her vehicle was impounded and during the inventory of items by Wacaster and Deputy James Putman, officers discovered Oxycontin, hydrocodone, Xanax and more amphetamine salts with no prescription for any of it. The additional amphetamines were found in a zippered bag along with $1,117 which was also seized.
Graham Police Department's Officer Chris Post made a drug arrest Saturday.
At about 8:48 p.m. Post observed a white 2002 Dodge pickup make a traffic violation on Florea Street. The subjects had been parked at a residence known to law enforcement.
Post requested consent to search and was denied so he called Cpl. Devin Wright with drug K-9 Marko who made a positive alert on the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, a plastic bag with a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine was found on passenger Mary Louise Bunting.
Bunting was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 more than one gram less than four, a third-degree felony.
