Cook County prosecutors on Tuesday dismissed drug charges against two more people arrested by Schaumburg cops now accused of stealing illegal drugs.
The move means five people have now had drug cases tossed since the three Schaumburg tactical officers were charged earlier this month with skimming and reselling drugs seized during arrests.
Prosecutors have said they plan to drop charges against 15 people who were arrested by the accused officers: John Cichy, Matthew Hudak and Terrance O'Brien.
On Tuesday, prosecutors dismissed drug delivery charges against 25-year-old Diangelo Beasley and 30-year-old Mario Alvarez-Romero, who each faced up to 30 years in prison.
Cichy, Hudak and O'Brien all remain jailed in DuPage County on charges that include drug conspiracy, official misconduct and armed violence.
