Kaylyn Victoria Holden, Joshua A. Sanford, arrested after drugs found near ... - WPTV

— Two people were arrested Monday and their 1-year-old daughter picked up by the state Department of Children and Families after they were found with drugs in a Fort Pierce hotel room, according to arrest affidavits.

When officials arrived at the hotel in the 1800 block of South U.S. 1, they found Kaylyn Victoria Holden, 22, and her daughter in a room where there was a marijuana cigarette out in the open and marijuana smoke in the air, the affidavits state.

Holden told officials she uses oxycodone, crack cocaine and marijuana, the affidavits state.

Joshua A. Sanford, 23, returned to the room and showed officials a crack pipe and two crack rocks hidden in a Winnie the Pooh baby bag, the affidavits state.

Holden and Sanford were booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on Monday on one charge each of child cruelty, cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Holden also was charged with possession of marijuana and outstanding warrants charging her with third-degree grand theft, dealing in stolen property and two counts of giving false information to a pawnbroker, according to jail records.

Holden was being held in lieu of $47,000 bail and Sanford on a $25,750 bail, the records show.
