Thorold drug dealer arrested - What's On Thorold

Since February of this year members of the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit have been investigating a Thorold male for selling drugs from his Front Street Apartment. As a result, on Friday October 12th, 2012 a search warrant was obtained to enter and search the said apartment. At approximately 10:30 PM the warrant was executed and 5 people were arrested without incident. Police searched the apartment and found a large amount of prescription medications, cocaine, marihuana, and stolen property.

Charged with 6 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1 count of Possession of Proceeds of Crime and 3 counts of Possession of Stolen Property is 43-year-old Pattrick Duffin. Charged with 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance is 63-year-old Evan Keatings and 57-year-old Mathew Breen. Charged with 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for The Purpose of Trafficking, 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 1 count of Breach of his Recognizance is 56-year-old Wayne Barrie.

Both Duffin and Barrie will be attending a bail hearing on Saturday October 13th. Mathew Breen and Evan Keating were subsequently released from custody and will appear in court in November to answer to these charges. In total Police seized $8,850.00 in drugs and $1028.00 in cash.
