Guatemala City. Protest against violence and murder of Guatemalan Women. The invitation to the event says: We are all participants, organizers and we invite you all.

We invite you to participate in this effort not to remain silent any longer about the violence in Guatemala especially towards women.This activity is not for anyone, not against anyone: it is to foment peace in our country for all.

This movement is born spontaneously from individuals as a demonstration of repudiation and indignation regarding the assassination of two girls and women whose bodies appeared yesterday.

We are tired of so much violence against us women.

It has been proposed to have a silent march every second Saturday of each month, a march around the Presidential Palace to remind the government of it´s obligation to prevent, investigate and punish violence against women.

A book has been opened for those who wish to manifest their outrage, the idea is that the book is delivered to the OAS at the meeting to be held in Guatemala in June this year.
