Argument call leads to four arrests for drugs, deputies say - WBTV

LINCOLN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) -

A call to deputies about an argument led to four people being arrested on drug charges, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

The incident began just before 5 a.m. Tuesday when deputies responded to the 6500 block of Todd Lane for a call about a disturbance. Once on scene, the deputies were met by a woman who told them she had gotten into an argument with a man in the home, and that he could be armed, deputies said.

Two men then came outside and told the deputies that the man, Dominick Joseph Desimone, 22, had been arguing with the woman, later identified as Brittani Nicole Carter, 21, and had left the house.

Desimone was located a short distance away and was caught by the deputies after a short foot chase, the report states.

Deputies then went into the home, where they found 220 grams of marijuana, a 12 gauge shotgun, and drug paraphernalia including a glass pipe and scales, deputies said.

The two men, identified as Casey Dale Bolick, 21, and John David Shope, 27, along with Carter and Desimone, were arrested and charged with one felony count of possession with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance schedule VI and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Desimone was also charged with resist, delay and obstruct a public officer.

All four were taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center and placed under a $2,500 secured bond.
