DAP reports envelopes with obscene materials - Malay Mail

TWO DAP leaders yesterday lodged police reports after receiving envelopes with two pieces of documents and a DVD believed to contain obscene material of an individual who allegedly looks like Perak State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk R. Ganesan and a woman.

The police reports were made by two DAP leaders, Tronoh assemblyman V. Sivakumar and Buntong assemblyman, A.N. Sivasubramaniam at the Ipoh police headquarters yesterday evening.

According to the reports, both DAP leaders received the envelopes addressed to them at about 10.30am.

The envelopes containing the documents and the obscene DVD which was linked to Ganesan, were sent through Pos Laju to the Perak DAP headquarters and were delivered to them by an office staff when they were at the state assembly.

Sivakumar told a press conference that the police report was made so that it would not affect the image of the speaker and the assembly.

He said the name of the sender on the envelope was written as Perak MIC Liaison Committee.

Meanwhile, Ganesan who was met at his office said he would be making a police report on the matter and will request for an investigation.
