SARATOGA SPRINGS Two men were arrested Friday for drug charges in separate incidents, city police said.
Makuan A. Jackson, 39, of Grand Avenue was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Friday on a Saratoga County Court warrant for allegedly distributing cocaine in the city, police said.
Jackson was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Jackson was sent to the Saratoga County Jail pending his arraignment Monday before County Court Judge Jerry Scarano.
At 1:35 p.m., Friday, Tristan A. Frey, 21, of Lawrence Street was arrested as part of an investigation into the illegal distribution of drugs in the city, police said. The drugs include cocaine, LSD, hashish, marijuana, and hydrocodone.
Frey was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony; unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; six counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and possession of a controlled substance outs its original container, a violation.
Frey was sent to the county jail and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in city court Monday.
