Two Arrested on Drug Charges Near Poplar, MT - KFYR-TV

Two people are being held in the Roosevelt County Jail after they were found east of Poplar, MT last week. Police were notified on October 2 of a male and female walking on the railroad tracks east of Poplar. The report said that the female was bleeding and that they had possibly jumped from the Amtrak train.

The individuals, identified as Amberly Dobbins and Morris Hayden, were found by authorities. They were arrested for Obstructing a Peace Officer and Dobbins, who needed medical attention, was transported to a hospital. Police also found about seven pounds of marijuana and over $1,100 in cash in their baggage.

Dobbins and Hayden were charged with Possession of Dangerous Drugs with Intent to Sell and Transporting a Dangerous Drug on the Train, Federal Charges are pending.
They are being held on $100,000 bond.
