Vermilion Parish Drug Arrests - KATC Lafayette News

The Vermilion / Municipal Narcotics Task Force made the following arrests after conducting undercover sting operations within the parish.

- Eric Lam (dob 12-20-59) of New Orleans was arrested when Narcotics agents noticed what they perceived to be an illegal transfer of narcotics take place. Upon further investigation it was found that Lam had purchased crack cocaine and was in possession of it upon being stopped and questioned. Lam was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine. Bond was set at $5,000.

- While working drug crime interdiction agents again noticed a suspected drug transaction and moved in to investigate. Through the investigation it was learned that Kindal Bourque (dob 5-27-76) of Maurice was purchasing prescription pills on the streets. Bourque was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule III narcotic. Bond was set at $10,000.

- Agents arrested Brennon Touchet (dob 5-23-78) of Duscon for possession of crystal methamphetamine. Bond was set at $25,000.

- Agents with the task force had been receiving information that illicit drugs were being sold from a residence in Kaplan. Upon further investigation agents did confirm that the information was valid and applied for a search warrant with the information gathered throughout the investigation. Upon executing the warrant at 1704 3rd St. in Kaplan, agents found suspected marijuana. Arrested and charged with possession of marijuana was Kenneth Boudreaux (dob 5-22-77) of Kaplan. Boudreuax was further charged with two counts of contempt of court for outstanding warrants. Bond was set at $46,373.
