A man has died following an overnight accident in Hartstown in West Dublin.
The 24 year old was driving a car which left the road and crashed into a tree on the Hartstown Road in the early hours of this morning.
He was taken to the James Connolly Memorial Hospital where he died this morning.
A 21 year old man who was a passenger in the car had earlier been pronounced dead at the scene.
Garda Forensic Collision experts have commenced their investigation into the accident.
Meanwhile a man in his 50's was pronounced dead at Cavan General Hospital last night after his tractor left the road between Cootehill to Mountain Lodge just before eight o' clock.
And in Co Cork a man in his 30's died after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a car near Dripsey, around 20 kilometres west of Cork City.
